Born Free is a song by British musician M.I.A., which was released alongside an accompanying short film.
“Born Free” is a punk rock song from M.I.A.’s upcoming third album, which will be released in June 29, 2010. The song was released on the internet on April 23, 2010. It samples “Ghost Rider”, a 1977 song by the post-punk band Suicide.
The short film featuring the song, which doubles as its music video was directed by French director Romain Gavras.

XXXO is the first official single by alternative dance musician M.I.A., from her third studio album, following the digital release of “Born Free“.
The song was premiered on BBC Radio 1 on May 10, 2010 and was released as a digital download the following day.
The video is slated to be directed by Hype Williams.
